MGF's mission is to preserve the native culture and environment of Hawaii through education. Our mission is accomplished through a school program--Partners in Education, Exploring the Islands distance learning television, resources for teachers, weekend walks into Kamananui Valley, the Ohia Project Curriculum, and the annual Prince Lot Hula Festival. MGF has been offering high-quality, award-winning educational programs and services at little or no cost to the people of Hawaii since 1970!

As a non-profit organization, MGF depends heavily upon its supporters, sponsors, donors, and volunteers for assistance towards perpetuating the natural beauty and culture of Hawaii. If you would like to help in this endeavor, we invite you to become a member, renew your membership, make a donation, or become a volunteer.
